Part of the grief journey is finding the happy again. I cook for comfort, it is something my husband and I enjoy doing together to spend quality time with one another. There is something therapeutic in chopping an onion or pepper, something satisfying in taste-testing a sauce, something joyful in the high-five you give each other when the meal turned out just right. Oh yeah.
